Have Yarn, Will Type
Born in San Jose, California, Max Faust spent his early years working as a reporter on several small newspapers before landing a job covering crime at the Oakland Tribune. After two decades pounding a crime beat, he left journalism and the deadlines behind in 2015 to run a bar with his wife in Key West. Ten years later, and one wife less, he still lives in Key West aboard his houseboat, The Quixote, where he writes all his stories on a 1974 Underwood-Olivetti 315 typewriter he was gifted by his late father. There may or may not be a cat called Sancho who lives on the boat with him. That's up to the cat.
